Angela is a native of Shiner, Texas, and graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.A. in Speech Communication. She obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the school’s law journal, The Scholar. Angela has practiced law for over 15 years in the areas of Oil & Gas, Estate Planning, Probate, Real Estate and Business Entities. For the past seven years, Angela has worked for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, most recently serving as the Area Director of the FCA Piney Woods West chapter. In February 2025, she was appointed as Associate Judge for the Municipal Court for the City of Huntsville and continues to proudly serve in that role. Angela is married to Garrett Valis, head softball coach at Sam Houston State University, and they have three children.
